Quick to embrace fresh new ideas about single-couple cruising.

Too many boats try to be “all things to all people.” That, inevitably, creates compromises. Our approach has been different: we just looked at what two people would find ideal. And then executed that as perfectly as we could. One palatial stateroom, a head with separate shower in which you’ll never bang your elbows, so much stowage space you won’t have to “edit” what you bring aboard, and a pilothouse that two people and a few guests will enjoy as much underway as at rest.

Quick to realize that couples today have limited time. And unlimited dreams.
Most boaters are looking for special moments, time away from crowds and vacation-spoiling complexity, but most boats are either too big and hard to handle or too small to be comfortable at sea or at anchor. Our one-couple cruiser is as nice for a day trip as for a vacation week, the right size for two people to manage fearlessly, step-aboard and cast-off simple, yet entirely capable of running the Coast or crossing The Stream to cruise the Bahamas.

Quick to conceive that a great rough water boat could be a great shallow water boat.
Cutting through the water is far more efficient than trying to skip along its surface. Conventional thinking produced single-hulled boats that attempt to soften slamming into waves by narrowing their width and deepening their V-depth. Our catamaran hulls slice through the waves; their broad stance keeps you on the level and their shallower draft lets you cruise and moor in places those V-brands can never go.

Quick to appreciate that peace and quiet is as important as speed and handling.
Cored, composite construction, our catamaran hulls and our pilothouse arrangement produce remarkable advantages.Stern-mounted twin engines not only deliver outstanding performance (30-38 knots wide open) and peace of mind (20+ knots on one engine) but leave the noise and vibration astern instead of under your feet. Within our pilothouse, normal conversation can be normal, even at full throttle. People say this must be the quietest boat ever built!

Quick to understand that fuel economy is high on the list of priorities.
In 18-20 MPH cruising, you’ll enjoy two miles per gallon. This incredible efficiency also exists at slow, sightseeing speeds. Tilted up, outboard motors remove themselves from marine growth and corrosion, and servicing is so much more accessible – saving you time, aggravation and cost. But for those who seek the ultimate efficiency and range, nothing can match our Buzzards Bay 34 with optional diesel sterndrives.

" An easy 25 knots. The ride was so soft and effortless... that I was lulled into thinking we were barely moving or that we were cruising along at trawler speed on a heavy displacement boat."
